Born Ebony Naomi Oshunrinde on December 28, 1996 in Brampton, Ontario, WondaGurl became a cultural figure at sixteen when she co-produced 'Crown' on Jay-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail (2013). By her early twenties she was the first Black Canadian woman to win the Juno Award for Producer of the Year (2021), with a catalog spanning Travis Scott's 'Antidote,' Rihanna's 'Bitch Better Have My Money,' Pop Smoke, and Lil Uzi Vert. Her relationship with Don began through Travis: in July 2020 she signed to Cactus Jack Publishing in a joint deal with Sony Music Publishing, and her moody, melodic palette became inseparable from Don's debut. WondaGurl produced the Heaven or Hell title track plus 'Can't Feel My Legs,' 'Candy,' 'Company,' 'No Photos,' and 'No Idea' — the singles that defined the post-Astroworld Don Toliver sound. Her signature is a hazy minor-key chord loop layered over swung 808s, the same template that turned 'No Idea' into Don's commercial breakthrough.
